The show encompassed a range of artistic styles and mediums (oil on canvas, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, colored pencil, collage, photography, digital).

Each submission has been judged based on the following elements of artistic expression: orginality and quality of art, overall design, creativity, interpretation of the theme, demonstration of artistic ability and usage of medium. Out of all entries, 99 artworks were shortlisted for inclusion in the show. The competition attracted entries from many countries across the world: USA, Austria, France, Ireland, Italy, Taiwan, Australia, Canada, Russia, Germany, Japan, Panama, Slovakia and Singapore. Enjoy the show and thank you for expressing an interest in our competition.

SECOND PLACE

Nature is a widespread topic – from the beauty of plants and landscape to cliffy and dangerrous suroundings. The art works presented are from my infrared series. By using full spectrum photography your view is tricked and broadened, you even may gain “insights”. In the beginning chaotic, just pushing the button. Nowadays I am working concepitonelly and in series being trained by my economic education in analytical and structured processes which has been transferred to my artistic approach. Most of my series are ongoing projects, partly over a long time. Art arises of doing, may it be trial and error in the beginning. Yet once the result found this way is pursued and refined. Art shall inspire and raise questions.
