DESCRIPTION:A curated international photography exhibition at the PH21 Photography Gallery \nMarch 10 – April 2\, 2022 \nPortraiture emerged as one of the most prominent genres of depictive media early in the history of the visual arts\, and the tacit or explicit rules\, conventions and cultural expectations have always influenced the ways by which artists approached the genre. Photography is no exception; numerous different and characteristic styles of portraiture emerged throughout the history of the medium. Today we live in an exciting new era for portraiture. There has never been a time in human history when so many portraits and self-portraits were produced day after day as in the era of digital technologies. DESCRIPTION:pantoART Atelier und Galerie \nVernissage der Charity-Ausstellung „CF…na und? – Lebe Dein Leben!“ 25.02.2022 von 18:00-22:00 Uhr \nEröffnung: 19:00 Uhr \nDauer der Ausstellung: 25.-27.02.2022 \nÖffnungszeiten: 26. + 27.02.2022 von 15:00-18:00 Uhr \nBitte die „3G- Regel“ beachten! \n  \nEines von 3000 Neugeborenen leidet an der häufigsten\, angeborene Stoffwechselerkrankung Cystische Fibrose (Mukoviszidose)\, kurz CF. CF ist eine Multiorganerkrankung\, bei deren Verlauf zäher Schleim die Drüsen im Körper verstopft. Dank der medizinischen Forschung und neuer Medikamente hat sich die Lebenserwartung dieser Kinder in den letzten Jahrzehnten deutlich gebessert\, sodass die meisten Kinder das Erwachsenenalter erreichen. Ursächlich ist die Erkrankung aber immer noch unheilbar. Lediglich eine Organtransplantation kann die Lebenszeit der Betroffenen verlängern. \n  \nAufgrund der Initiative des Künstlers Martin Luisi und der 22-jährigen Betroffenen Lisa Polt ist die Idee entstanden\, mittels einer Charity-Ausstellung medienwirksam auf diese genetische Erkrankung aufmerksam zu machen. Der Reinerlös aus dem Verkauf der Kunstobjekte der Charity-Ausstellung soll über den Verein CF-Hilfe Wien\, NÖ\, N-Bgld – einer wichtigen Anlaufstelle für Betroffene – direkt betroffenen Kindern und deren Familie zugute kommen. \n  \nIn der Ausstellung werden ausgewählte Werke von insgesamt 15 zeitgenössischen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus den Bereichen Malerei\, Grafik\, Collage\, Mixed-Media\, und Fotografie gezeigt und zum guten Zweck verkauft. \n  \n  \nMit Werken von: \nFranziska BRUCKNER \nGeorg BRZOBOHATY \nPaul DELPANI \nTheresia ERÖS \nLinda GAENSZLE \nHOBE \nIvana KOKANOVIC \nMartin LUISI \nElisabeth NAGY \nAntonella QUACCHIA \nDaniela ROHRER \nHarald TOBITSCH \nPanto TRIVKOVIC \nJutta WENTH \nBerthild ZIERL \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The art of photography – Barcelona\nA curated international photography exhibition \nAugust 22–29\, 2021\, PH21@Barcelona \n​A PH21 Gallery Exhibition in Barcelona\, Catalonia\, Spain \n​ \n[Diva] Diva – so what\, 2021 \n\n​Although photography first emerged as a technological invention\, it was also quickly conceived as an artistic practice as well. Pictorialist photographs in the nineteenth century were created to look like paintings\, while advocates of straight photography in the first part of the twentieth century strived for the purely photographic means of creating photographic meaning. Street photographers devoted the medium to capturing the fleeting moment\, while in the last part of the twentieth century many photographers turned to staging and directing in order to utilize photography for artistic visual communication. Art photography also includes numerous genres and creative practices from portraiture\, landscape and still life to abstract and conceptual photography.
